How to post a job with separate absence and substitute times

This is a step-by-step guide on how to post an absence with different substitute and absence times.

1. Navigate to Jobs > Post Job.

2.  Select the Employee, Job Classification and click Next.

3. Fill out the Itinerary: Schedule, Job Reason, Job Position (Room and Report To are optional).

Check the Separate substitute schedule box.  Enter Employee and Substitute times and click Next.

4.  Choose the Substitute Configuration and click Next


5.  Add any optional notes or attachments and click Next.

6.  Review and click Post Job.

Note: On the Job Details page, a notification will display showing the difference between the substitute job hours and the employee absence hours.  View the individual segments for the substitute hours and the employee absence hours by clicking Switch.
