This is a step-by-step guide on how to determine whether a job segment is locked or unlocked. A locked job cannot be edited unless first unlocked by an administrator with the proper permission level.
There are two methods to determine whether a job segment is locked or unlocked from the Job Details page: the lock icon next to the segment date, and the Lock / Unlock button.
Method 1: The lock icon next to the segment date
1. Navigate to the Job Details page and look at the icon next to the job segment date.
a. An unlocked padlock signifies an unlocked job segment.
b. A locked padlock signifies a locked job segment.
Method 2: The Lock/Unlock button
1. Navigate to the Job Details page, and click Lock / Unlock
2. The current lock status of the job segment will be displayed.
